How do I set up SMS?
New users may opt in to SMS messaging when creating a FlipSeats account. Existing users can turn on SMS messaging from within the “Settings” tab.
To enable SMS, navigate to your account settings and toggle on the SMS Notifications. A pop-up window will then ask you to confirm that you are opting in to SMS messaging by entering a verification code that gets sent to your cell phone. Enter the verification code and you’re all set!
The verification code will be sent to the number shown in your profile. In order to enable SMS, this number must be a cell number that can receive text messages. If you need to change your phone number, you can also do so on the Setting tab.
Note: Enabling SMS doesn’t replace email notifications—you’ll always receive email notifications. Adding SMS provides more immediate alerts about your ticket activity and status.
