How do I find my tickets on marketplaces?

Finding your tickets on resale sites isn’t always straightforward. Marketplaces like Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, StubHub, Vivid Seats, Gametime, and others each use different algorithms, display rules, and pricing filters — which means your listings may not appear exactly how and where you expect them.

This guide is designed to help sellers navigate marketplace filters and sorting options so you can confidently locate your tickets. Whether you’ve listed through FlipSeat or you’re listing on an individual marketplace, the same rules apply. Track down your listings more easily with these tips.

Note: By default, marketplaces are required to display “all-in” buyer pricing (fees included). Toggling off this setting (when available) is often needed to see and match to your list price.

Before you start...

As a season ticket holder, you likely have your section and seats memorized (but if not, you’ll need those handy)! Before looking on marketplaces, you’ll also want to confirm what you set as your list price, and how many of your tickets you listed.

Why ticket quantity matters

The listings marketplaces display depends on both the quantity you search for and the listing’s split settings. To ensure you can find your tickets, always search using the exact quantity you listed. For example:

  • If you list 2 tickets and set no splits, searching for 1 ticket will hide your listing.
  • If you list 4 tickets and set it to never leave one, searching for 3 tickets will also hide your listing.

Quick troubleshooting tips

  • Try mobile vs desktop — Marketplaces may have limited functionality on mobile vs desktop. The directions in this article were designed with desktop searches in mind.
  • Private/incognito window— You may want to search in an incongnito window or clear your cache to avoid only seeing cached results.
  • Widen price range slightly— Don’t search for your exact list price (down to the cent), as the price marketplaces choose to display may be rounded up or down a bit. If searching by price, increase your search range by a few dollars each direction.
  • Wait a few minutes after making edits — It may take a few minutes for marketplace to refresh listings with updated prices.

If you still can’t find your listing after following the marketplace directions below:

  • The listing may be pending approval from FlipSeats (we manually review each listing before distribution). If it’s been more than 12 hours and your listing is still pending, reach out to support at help@flipseats.com.
  • It could be processing/propagating between systems(i.e.FlipSeats and the marketplace)— give it a few minutes.
  • The listing may have already been sold or temporarily suppressed by the marketplace, venue, or team.
  • If it’s not pending and you still can’t locate it, contact support so we can investigate at help@flipseats.com.

Quick Links to Marketplace Directions:

Ticketmaster

  1. Search for your event.
  2. In the filters panel, set the quantity to the exact quantity of your listing.
  3. Tickets listed through FlipSeats will show as “Verified Resale Ticket.” If you need to further refine your search, you may adjust the filter to only show verified resale tickets.
  4. Use the venue map to click into your section to narrow results.
  5. Search for your row and seat number(s).

Note: Prices shown will appear above your actual list price due to all-in pricing.

StubHub

  1. Search the event and set the exact ticket quantity from your listing.
  2. In filters, turn off “Recommended tickets” (StubHub defaults this on).
  3. Use the map to select your section. Then scan the list of tickets to find a matching row and quantity.

Important: StubHub shows all-in prices and does not have an option to turn it off. To see the base list price, you can proceed toward checkout where fees are broken out.

Do not click “Start” on the checkout prompt — doing so places the tickets on temporary hold for 10 minutes and will make them unavailable to others while held. You can view the price breakdown behind the “Start” prompt as seen here:

SeatGeek

  1. Open the event page and select the exact quantity from your listing.
  2. Click your section on the map to show available tickets. You’ll have to zoom into the section on the map and click on a listing to view the actual seat numbers.
  3. If you don’t spot your tickets:
  • Change the sorting from Top Picks to Price. SeatGeek defaults to Top Picks.
  • Open filters and disable “Show prices including fees” so you see the base price you can match to your listing.
  • Match section, row, quantity, and list price to your listing.

Vivid Seats

  1. Search for your event and set the ticket quantity in the filters.
  2. Hover over the price filter and uncheck “Show prices with estimated fees” to view base list prices.
  3. Click your section on the venue map. Vivid doesn't show seat numbers, so you’ll need to search for your listing by row, quantity, and price.
  4. If many listings appear, sort by row or price to narrow results.

Note: Vivid Seats typically displays only the 2–3 best-priced listings per row, even if more seats are available. Once those tickets sell, your listing may appear next, since the platform continues to rotate just a few seats per row at a time.

Gametime

  1. Search for the event.
  2. In the filters above the list view, set the exact quantity and toggle the “Includes Fees” button off so you see base list prices.
  3. Zoom in on the map and click your section to view available tickets.
  4. To see seat numbers, find your row and click a price on the map. The detail view will show seat numbers.

Note: Gametime’s algorithm limits how many listings appear in each section, usually highlighting only the lowest priced tickets. This can make it seem like Gametime has better deals for buyers, even though higher-priced listings exist, but aren’t displayed.

If your tickets don’t show on Gametime, you could lower your price to surface them there. However, we generally recommend holding your list price — your tickets will appear on Gametime once lower-priced ones sell, and in the meantime, they may sell on other marketplaces at your preferred list price.

TickPick

  1. Search for your event.
  2. In the filters, select the exact ticket quantity of your listing.
  3. By default, TickPick shows the best deals. Click on this filter to change and sort by price.
  4. Click into your section on the venue map and locate your tickets in the list view based on quantity, row, and price.
  5. If unsure, click the listing to view the checkout page and see exact seat numbers.

Note: TickPick does not have buyer fees, so the price you see should align closely with your list price (even with zero fees, there may still be small price variances among marketplaces).

TicketNetwork

  1. Search for your event and in the filters, enter the ticket quantity of your listing.
  2. In filters, uncheck “Show prices with estimated fees.”
  3. Use the venue map to click into your section and view available tickets.
  4. To ensure you can find your tickets, always search using the exact quantity you listed. Make sure “Featured tickets — show first” isn’t selected in the sorting drop down. Instead, sort by price or row.
  5. Seat numbers are not shown on Ticket Network. Use the list view to locate your row and match the quantity and price to your listing.
