What's the face value?

Face value is what's stated on the ticket as its original price (not including any fees). Note that it may not be what you actually paid for it. 

If you have multiple tickets that have different face values, the average face value across your ticket package may be displayed.

If the tickets are part of a season ticket package through Ticketmaster Account Manager, FlipSeats will display the face value at the time of listing your tickets. Having this information handy can be helpful when setting your price and understanding if you may lose or make money when the ticket sells.
