What is dynamic pricing?

Dynamic pricing in the ticket sales industry refers to the automatic adjustment of ticket prices based on fluctuating market conditions. There are a number of variables that can affect market demand and ticket prices, including weather, day of the week, player injuries, hot/cold match ups, etc. Additionally, as game day draws near, ticket prices usually start to drop.

FlipSeats offers a feature that allows users to take advantage of a similar type of pricing strategy, called Pro Pricing. The toggle to turn on Pro Pricing can be found on the ticket listing workflow after entering your list price. If you select Pro Pricing, FlipSeats will use your list price as a starting point and adjust your ticket prices for you. Using Pro Pricing ensures that your tickets are always competitively priced to sell and provide you with the best return.

Note that enabling this feature may result in tickets selling below face value and does not guarantee their sale. You will receive regular updates when your ticket prices change, and you may cancel the listing at any time, up to 3 hours before your event. Within 3 hours of your event, your tickets will no longer be available to use or cancel. FlipSeats will continue to reprice your tickets up until the start of the event.
